Graduate Profile
The 2019 curriculum has taken into account input from external stakeholders including Alumni and Graduate Users, associations of related study programs in the field of Electrical Engineering, namely the Indonesian Electrical Engineering Higher Education Forum (FORTEI), other scientific and professional associations including the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) and other stakeholders. internal interests that include Lecturers, Students, and Management Units, namely Faculties and Universities and have paid attention to the development trend of Science and Technology, the challenges of Industry 4.0, Society 5.0 and the direction of Indonesia 4.0
The development of advantages and characteristics of the Electrical Engineering Study Program based on the inputs and studies above has resulted in an agreement to develop the curriculum into 2 streams, namely 1. Stream Smart Power System and 2. Stream Smart Network and Smart Industrial Automation. These two streams are expected to become guidelines / blueprints for curriculum development that prepare competent graduates to face the challenges of the profession (engineering professional world) and facilitate research and development of science (research and development of science). Each of these streams consists of Profession Sub-Streams related to the graduate’s choice of profession and student’s final project research which includes the Professional Fields of Power Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Control System Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computer System Engineering
The considerations above serve as a guide in formulating the Profile of Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Study Program and Learning Outcomes in the Operational Curriculum of the Electrical Engineering Study Program in 2019-2021. Another consideration is the demand for a curriculum that supports outcome-based learning (Outcome-Based Education / OBE), where learning is carried out in such a way with clearly defined and measurable achievements. In the 2019 Electrical Engineering Study Program Operational Curriculum, Operational Learning Outcomes have been prepared which refer to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, guidelines from the Electrical Engineering Education association, namely the Indonesian Electrical Engineering Forum (FORTEI) and the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE). . All courses presented in the Operational Curriculum of the Electrical Engineering Study Program in 2019 are designed to support the Learning Outcomes of Graduates who make up the Graduate Profile of the Electrical Engineering Study Program
